Hunger Center Grateful for Holiday Support

November and December are always extremely busy months at the Euclid Hunger Center, and this year has proven to be no different. That is why we are particularly grateful for the donations we have received from so many in these last few weeks. Our Euclid School teachers, Tranzonic Companies, BWXT Technologies, the Noble Beach Club, and the Edgecliff Club are but some of the organizations that have helped supplement our food supply, enabling us to serve over 725 families in November alone.

Many other individuals and companies have also contributed financially. Thanks to a generous donation from Amazon, we were able to provide gift cards for ALDI or Dave’s, as well as additional Thanksgiving food, to all the Euclid families who visited the pantry this month. This donation also enabled us to purchase nearly 400 winter coats to add to the 100 that were donated by our supporters. So many will be kept warm this winter thanks to the generosity of our neighbors. All of this work could not have been done without the dedication of our incredible volunteers, and the support of our community. We thank all those who contributed in any way over this past year, and we wish you all a very happy holiday season.

The EHC is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10-1 for residents of Euclid. Please note that we will be closed from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day. We are located in the lower level of the Shore Cultural Centre. For more information, go to or call 216-731-3329.

Volunteers organize some of the many coats that were generously donated to the Hunger Center’s winter coat drive.
